This HDMI over IP decoder delivers visually lossless 4K signals with low latency up to 393 feet (120 meters) point to point or via a standard Gigabit Ethernet switch. Engineered to meet today's demands of large-scale, multi-display 4K signal transmission, the B161-001 is ideal for a wide range of indoor environments, such as trade shows, airports, university campuses, conference centers and shopping centers. The decoder follows TCP/IP standards for reliable AV over IP installations.



Lightweight Compression with Ultra-Low Latency

The decoder uses advanced video lossless compression technology to extend 4K video at 30 Hz with 3.4 Gbps/340 mHz per channel (10.2 Gbps all channels), 3D video support and 12-bit per channel color depth.



Limitless Scalability and Flexibility

Mix and match the latest 4K displays in simple point-to-point setups or more elaborate point-to-multipoint setups via LAN (local area network) without distance limitations. Simply connect a B161-101 encoder/decoder kit (sold separately) to a standard network switch and additional B161-001 decoder units to the ports on the switch using Cat6 cabling. This product offers multi-functionality in video wall and daisy-chain applications.



Configure Video Installations with a Keyboard and Mouse

Connect the USB-A port on the encoder unit of a B161-101 kit (sold separately) to a computer and connect a keyboard and mouse to the KVM ports on the B161-101 receiver to control the video installation from the display side.



Extend Multiple B161-Series Decoders

Connect multiple B161-001 decoder units (sold separately) through a dedicated Ethernet network switch. Cabling and system deployment is easy with fewer cables needed. The daisy-chain function is especially ideal for large-scale deployment covering a wide area, such as hotels, airports, shopping malls and expo centers.
