This laptop USB 2.0 to KVM Console (NOTECONS02-VGA-MDP) turns your notebook into a portable server crash cart, eliminating the need to lug around a video screen, keyboard and mouse. This adapter delivers the VGA stream from any host computer to a laptop and emulates the laptop mouse/keyboard outputs for simple access/control of connected servers, PCs or other "headless" devices. Use the included Mini DisplayPort adapter to connect to mDP-enabled computers or servers. The software interface of the USB KVM crash cart makes it easy to transfer files from your datacenter laptop to the server, capture videos or take screenshots. You can scale the display window to full screen mode or smaller without having to scroll, which helps you troubleshoot faster. Ensuring full control of the connected units, the datacenter crash cart provides immediate access to the POST screen and BIOS, plus the ability to handle full configuration of the attached PC or machine; administrators can connect to a headless server without the need of an expensive LCD rackmount console or bulky monitor, keyboard and mouse solution.
