It handles the Network Address Translation (NAT) traversal issues with SIP while maintaining the security of the enterprise network. The SIP Trunking software module includes advanced routing features and is especially designed to enable an enterprise using an IP-PBX like the Mitel to connect to service providers' SIP Trunks, enjoying all of the benefits and cost savings that brings. The module handles service provider authentication of the enterprise and can also handle least-cost routing to enable routing to several service providers.
