The UH201 "port guardian" is a compact USB isolator that fits easily inside your laptop case or pocket. With male and female type A USB connectors, hook it directly to your USB port to provide 2 kV isolation. It has a high speed digital isolation chip that electrically separates your PC from the remote I/O device. Keep in mind that although it is compatible with USB 2.0, it is limited to the 12 Mbps "Full Speed" associated with USB 1.1. This is an industry wide limitation of today's isolation technology.
