Cycle Tracking: The Cycle Tracking app should not be used for birth control or to diagnose a health condition. Cycle deviation notifications are based solely on the user’s logged cycle history. Cycle deviation notifications inclusive of perimenopause are for people 40 years old or older. These notifications are not intended to replace traditional methods of diagnosis, monitoring, or treatment of perimenopause or menopause.

ECG: The ECG app is available on Apple Watch Series 4 and later (excluding Apple Watch SE models) and all Apple Watch Ultra models and can generate an ECG similar to a single-lead electrocardiogram. Intended for use by people 22 years old or older.

Emergency SOS via Satellite: Emergency SOS requires a satellite connection, cellular connection, or Wi-Fi calling with an internet connection from your Apple Watch or nearby iPhone. You can use cellular models of Apple Watch to make an emergency call in many locations, provided that cellular service is available. Some cellular networks may not accept an emergency call from your Apple Watch if your Apple Watch isn’t activated, if it isn’t compatible with or configured to operate on a particular cellular network, if it isn’t set up for cellular service, or if the cellular network does not support emergency calling over IMS. Fast Charging: Fast charging is compatible with Apple Watch Series 7 and later, Apple Watch SE 3, and all Apple Watch Ultra models.

Satellite: Emergency SOS, Find My, and Messages via satellite are included for free for two years with the activation of Apple Watch Ultra 3 or later. Connection and response times vary based on location, site conditions, and other factors. Find My and Messages via satellite require a carrier plan. To send and receive SMS from cellular models of Apple Watch over satellite, your paired iPhone must be powered on and connected to Wi-Fi or an active cellular network, but your iPhone doesn’t need to be nearby. Siri AI: Apple Intelligence is available with Siri and device language set to Chinese (Simplified), Chinese (Traditional), Danish, Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Portuguese, Spanish, Swedish, Turkish, or Vietnamese. Some features may not be available in all regions or languages. Some devices may not be available in all regions. Siri AI is available in beta in watchOS 27 and requires an Apple Intelligence–enabled device set to a supported language. Available in English to start. Siri AI will not be initially available in the EU on watchOS. Certain Apple Intelligence features that rely on server-side models are subject to daily usage limits, including but not limited to Siri AI. Sleep Apnea Notifications: Sleep apnea notifications are available on Apple Watch Series 9 and later, Ultra 2 and later, and SE 3. The feature is intended to detect signs of moderate to severe sleep apnea for people 18 years old or older without a diagnosis of sleep apnea.

Temperature Sensing: The temperature sensing feature is not intended for medical use. Temperature sensing is available on Apple Watch Series 8 and later, Apple Watch SE 3, and all Apple Watch Ultra models. Vitals: The Vitals app is for wellness purposes only and not for medical use.

Water and Dust Resistance: Apple Watch Series 2 and later and Apple Watch SE and later have a water resistance rating of 50 meters under ISO standard 22810:2010. This means that they may be used for shallow-water activities like swimming in a pool or ocean. Series 10 and later can also be used for snorkeling to 6 meters. However, they should not be used for scuba diving, waterskiing, or other high-velocity water sports. Apple Watch Ultra models have a water resistance rating of 100 meters under ISO standard 22810:2010. They may be used for recreational scuba diving (with compatible third-party app from the App Store) to 40 meters and high-speed water sports. They should not be used below 40 meters. Apple Watch Series 7 and later and Apple Watch Ultra models are rated IP6X dust resistant.

Workout Buddy: Requires a paired Apple Intelligence–enabled iPhone and Bluetooth headphones with device and Siri language set to English or Spanish. To use Workout Buddy without your iPhone nearby, you must have a Wi-Fi or cellular connection. Some features may not be available in all regions or languages.
