The Short-Throw 3D Ready Sharp PG-D2870W incorporates the latest BrilliantColor DLP technology with DLP Link (for high quality 3D projection from a single projector). With HD compatible 1280 x 800 WXGA native resolution and compatibility up through UXGA (1600 x 1200), the PG-D2870W is able to project not only standard XGA and 720p HDTV, but also "pixel perfect" 1280 x 800 resolution from Wide-XGA PCs. This short-throw design is ideal for interactive presentations and simplifies projector placement in classrooms and meeting rooms, trade show exhibits and other venues with limited space. The fully featured PG-D2870W offers a 7-watt audio system, RJ-45 network connector, built-in closed caption decoder and sealed DLP chip with filter-free design. Built in an ISO 14001 certified factory with low standby power consumption (0.77W) and estimated lamp life of up to 5000 hours, the RoHS compatible PG-D2870W is exceptionally environmentally friendly.

Short Throw Design - permits a 100” diagonal WXGA image to be projected from a distance of only 5’ 1” from the screen and a 60” diagonal WXGA image from only 3’ 1” from the screen. This short-throw design is ideal for interactive presentations and simplifies the projector placement in classrooms, meeting rooms and other venues with limited space. An optional wall mount bracket (AN-STWM20) is also available to simplify installation.
3D-Ready - Make sure your projector is ready for use with new 3D content. Incorporating DLP Link technology, when used with compatible 3D field sequential content and active shutter 3D glasses (not included) that support the DLP Link system, the PG-D2870W captivates audiences with breathtaking 3D imagery. The PG-D2870W offers 3D support with both 60 Hz and 120 Hz WXGA (1280 x 800 and 1280 x 720), XGA (1024 x 768) and SVGA (800 x 600) sources. (When not being used for 3D projection, these models offer full compatibility with traditional "2D" content.)
High Brightness and Contrast - 3000 Lumens with 2000:1 Contrast Ratio.
High Output 7 Watt Sound System - Variable Audio Line-Out (“VAO”) is also provided to use the projector with an external sound system or powered loudspeakers.

Unique Slide Lens Cover - helps protect lens from dust and provides an instant lens shutter. If the lens cover is kept closed for more than 30 minutes, the projector automatically turns off. This is a safety feature.
