          HP Design Service

          Prior to beginning an installation, we work with you to understand your needs and then design a solution that best fits your storage needs, your planned growth, and your budget. Our engineers are certified and skilled at developing storage solutions that build efficiency and best practices into your IT environment.

          HP Installation Service

          Our HP EVA Installation Service includes:

          • A complete SAN architecture design
          • An installation of a factory configured EVA rack, or a full installation of a field assembled EVA rack, which includes complete installation of various components such as:
            • Controllers
            • Drive enclosures
            • Drives

          Our HP EVA Installation Service can also include installation of data replication software including:

          • Business Copy EVA
          • Continuous Access

          Each service engagement is customized to your needs. Our service goes above and beyond the typical standard configuration and also includes SAN zoning work to fully integrate your EVA.

          Key HP EVA Installation Features

          • Verification, using a pre-delivery checklist, that all service prerequisites have been met
          • Scheduling of the array deployment at a mutually agreed‑upon time
          • Creation of a written installation plan, which serves as the guide for the coordination of the installation and startup deliverables
          • Array deployment activities, including:
            • Management of the installation plan
            • Confirmation of appropriate operating system patch levels on up to four hosts identified in the installation plan
          • Brief consultation to provide guidance in defining the array configuration objectives based upon application performance, availability needs, and HP best practices
          • Development and implementation of a customized virtual disk design
          • Installation and configuration of any embedded switch options
          • Clear and concise documentation provided
